A Good Day

Today was a good day.....Now that I have a child a good day consists of something very different then in the past. In the past a good day would consist of  my girlfriend and I going to the mall having lunch and leisurely walking around, then meeting up with our husbands and having dinner and maybe a movie.
Now,  a good day consists of going to Chuckie Cheese with my son and husband. Yeah, I know what your thinking,  Chuckie Cheese Really? Its not the food, which PS tastes like cardboard, or all the great prizes, that as soon as you get home goes in the trash, or the much dreaded germs, Its spending time together as a family.  Anytime my husband and I are together with my son is a good day. In todays day and age, theres little room for a family to have a lot of time together. I work opposite my husbands schedule so my son can have at least one parent around, I keep telling myself its just as good as being a stay at home mom right?, well theres my mommy guilt for you.  I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I long for the good old days of having a real family life. Mom staying home, having dinner on the table, being there to help you with any problem that arises. WOW, I just set the woman's movement back a couple of years, but oh well, truly what was most important was Mom was always around when you needed her. Mom was well..... MOM. So now a days, anytime I spend being, a family I absolutely cherish, Because as much as I loved those leisurely days with my friend at the mall, I love being MOM,  a whole lot more.

1st time

Ok, this is my first time blogging, I want to be completely honest..... I have no idea what I am doing.
I have wanted to start blogging for a while but never had the courage to do so. Who would want to hear about my crazy life, story's and ideas. I'm starting to realize that my crazy stories and ideas are not so different from everyone else's. So, here I go, I am officially a blogger
